Dr Pepper Berries & Cream

Dr Pepper Berries & Cream combines the one of a kind flavor of Dr Pepper with the smooth indulgent taste of cream and a refreshing hint of berry.

Eww. I'm not even going to give that one a try. I'm still scarred from Mountain Dew Pitch Black. Oh, and Pepsi Holiday Spice? Forget that!

Celebrity Cooking Showdown

Drat: "NBC yanked the remaining two episodes of its culinary boot camp for celebs from its prime time schedule and made what was supposed to be Thursday's show available for Web viewing on NBC.com instead."

It even had some interesting chefs: "Celebrity Cooking Showdown finds all-star chefs Wolfgang Puck, Cat Cora and Govind Armstrong"

Completely missed that one!

I'm ready for my close-up, Mr. Brown...

William Conway: "Astute readers of this blog will no doubt know of my affection for Good Eats. Long story short, it's the best program on television since the A-team.

So you can imagine my surprise when I received an e-mail from a friend of mine asking if I'd like to be an extra on an upcoming episode.

Alton and the crew seem to write the details of the show as they go along. He had a script, but once he got a look at the 9 or so extras the scene just sort of unfolded from there."

How much fun! We certainly consume Good Eats from the DVR quickly. I finallly caught Shell Game IV and there certainly were a motley crew of extras in a scene.

Hot Dog!

The ole DVR saith that it's time for a Hot Dog! The box disgorged Secret Life of... Hot Dogs, Unwrapped : Hot Dogs, and Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, South Beach.

Guess it's time to visit the friendly neighborhood sausage shack!

Fear Factor Pop-Ups

Fear Factor Pop-Ups!
In sour cherry with an eyeball gumball and sour watermelon, both with sour lemon slime.

Peeps

Marshmallow Peeps are yuckky, even if you make them yourself, make Turducken with them, take them adventuring, make them your minions, or just give them a decent burial (like on a easter bonnet), but whatever you do with them, take pix!

Dorset Naga

Dorset Naga: an exceptionally hot variety that we developed from a Bangladeshi chilli known as Naga Morich. In 2005 we collected a sample of this chilli, and had it tested for heat by two laboratories in the USA. The result, measured in Scoville Heat Units (SHU), were astounding: taking an average of the two, Dorset Naga came in at 923,000 SHU.

To put this figure in context, the Guinness world record for the hottest chilli is currently held by Red Savina, which was once measured at 577,000 SHU"

Pringles

Got a short can of Pringles Loaded Baked Potato. Bleah. Should have gotten a regular one to compare it against. It tasted of gruel and old dairy.

They'd be more fun with printing on them ... like Trivial Pursuit questions!

Dave's Gourmet Hot Sauce and Garden Spray

Dave's Store: "After years of customers telling us that they use hot sauce to keep animals out of their garden and off their dinner table, we had an idea. We created this sauce to be a delicious addition to your food and a way to keep deer and rabbits from eating your roses and carrots."

Buh? That's going to leave a mark.
